Iran launches new missile strikes on Israeli sites, casualties reported

Iran launched a new wave of missile and drone strikes on Israeli sites, killing six and injuring 240.

AhlulBayt News Agency: At least six Israelis were killed and 240 others injured in a new wave of Iranian missile and drone counterattacks on Israeli sites.

Hebrew media reported that dozens of Israelis remain missing under the rubble following the strikes, which caused widespread destruction to buildings and infrastructure in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Rehovot, and Bat Yam.

A research center at the Weizmann Institute of Science, a leading Israeli university in Rehovot, suffered severe damage and caught fire after being hit by an Iranian missile.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military has imposed a censorship ban on publishing any information related to four incidents that occurred last night, underscoring the sensitivity of the situation.

In a statement, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of a new barrage of missiles at Israeli sites early Sunday, targeting fighter jet refueling facilities and power supply centers. The IRGC emphasized that these strikes were in direct response to recent Israeli attacks.

Earlier, Iran’s Ministry of Petroleum confirmed that two oil depots in Tehran were struck during Israeli airstrikes. Residents reported hearing two powerful explosions in the capital, with blasts felt in both western and northern districts. The ministry assured that the situation was “under control.”

In a related development, Yemen’s armed forces stated on Sunday that they had launched several ballistic missiles at Jaffa in central Israel over the past 24 hours, coordinating their strikes with Iran.
